Nelson FSP intumescent firestop putty

Nelson FSP is a firestop product in putty form. It is completely premixed and ready to use and can be hand pressed into place forming an immediate fire seal. When exposed to fire the intumescent material will expand to seal voids caused by deteriating cable jackets, maintaining the seal and preventing the passage of fire or smoke to adjacent rooms.

Nelson FSP is a one-part composition, similar in consistancy to glazing putty. Ingredients are a combination of organic and inorganic materials blended into a hand moldable finished product. It is possible to reused the same material when adding or changing penetrating items because the putty does not set up. There are no disagreeable toxic or hazardous fumes released during installation, and curing time is not required.
