Intumescent, Elastomeric Firestop FlameSafe Fire Stop 1900 is a high-performance, elastomeric and intumescent sealant. It is a high-solids, water-based compound engineered to provide exceptional adhesive and elastomeric properties for the demanding firestop requirements of pipe, cable, sprinkler penetrations and construction joints in environments subjected to frequent expansion and contraction.

FlameSafe Fire Stop 1900 is highly intumescent, expanding to fill the void created by the melting and burning of plastic pipe, insulated pipe, and plastic-coated cables. FlameSafe FS 1900 does not contain solvents. As a result, it is not toxic and cannot damage plastic pipes or cable jackets.
